In this course, you will receive the Indiana State Department of Health Course, consisting of 40 hours of classroom training and 80 hours of clinical training, in affiliation with a state approved long term care facility. The student will also master the basic skills needed to take care of residents in long-term care facilities or hospitals. A Ceil Blue uniform, with shoes, and a watch with a second hand will be required for clinical training. Included in the cost of the program is your: class, lab, books and first state testing fee. 

Participant Eligibility

  1. Must be at least 17 years of age.
  2. A Physical and a two-step TB tests are mandatory and at the student's expense.
  3. Student must provide a criminal background check. This has to be done before the start of class. (At students expense).

Program Location:
Classes will be held at In Training College. The clinical portion will be held a clinical site in which we have an agreement with.

Program Dates and Times:
  Day classes are offered monthly with weekend classes offered twice a year. Refer to the "schedule tab" for dates and times.


      1. Student must pass a pre-entrance exam, consisting of basic Math and English skills.

     2.  A $100.00 deposit is required to hold your spot in the class. This will be due upon enrollment.

    3. Call and make an appointment. 




Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be prepared to work in a heathcare setting utilizing basic nursing skills. There will be a written and a skill performace evaluation at State testing.

Once the student has passed both written and the skills portion of the State Exam, they will be placed on the Indiana CNA registry.
