Classes Offered:

In Training College Refund Policy:

If a postsecondary proprietary educational institution utilizes a refund policy of their recognized national accrediting agency or the United States Department of Education (USDOE) Title IV refund policy, the postsecondary proprietary education institution must provide written verification in the form of a final refund calculation, upon the request of OCTS, that its refund policy is more favorable to the student that that of OCTS.

 

The following refund policy applies to each resident postsecondary propriety educational institution as follows:

 

  1.   A student is entitled to a full refund of one (1) or more of the following criteria are met:

  

        (a)   The student cancels the enrollment or agreement application within six (6) business days after signing.

 

        (b)   The student does not meet the postsecondary proprietary educational institution’s minimum admission

               requirement.

 

        (c)   The student’s enrollment was procured as result of a misrepresentation in the written materials utilized 

                by the postsecondary propriety educational institution.

 

        (d)   If the student has not visited the postsecondary educational institution prior to enrollment, and, upon

                touring the institution  or attending the regularly scheduled orientation/classes, the student withdrew

                from the program within three (3) days.

 

   2.    A student withdrawing from an instructional program, after starting the instructional program at a post

              secondary proprietary institution and attending one (1) week or less, is entitled to a refund of ninety

              percent (90%) of the cost of the financial obligation, less an application fee of ten percent (10%) of

              the total tuition, not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.).

 

   3.    A student withdrawing from an instructional program after attending more than (1) week but equal to or

              less than twenty-five (25%) of the duration of the instructional program, is entitled to a refund of

              seventy-five (75%) of the cost of the financial obligation, less an application/enrollment fee of ten

              percent (10%) of the total tuition, not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.).

 

   4.    A student withdrawing from an instructional program, after attending more than twenty-five percent

              (25%) but equal to or less than fifty percent (50%) of the duration of the instructional program, is

              entitled to a refund of fifty-percent (50%) of the cost of the financial obligation, less an

              application/enrollment fee of ten percent (10%) of the total tuition, not to exceed on hundred dollars

             ($100.).

   5.     A student withdrawing from an instructional program, after attending more than fifty percent (50%) but

               equal to or less than sixty percent (60%) of the duration of the program, is entitled to a refund of

              forty percent (40%) of the cost of the financial obligation, less an application/enrollment fee of ten

              percent (10%) of the total tuition, not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.).

 

   6.     A student withdrawing from an institutional program, after attending more than sixty percent (60%) of the

               duration of the institutional program, is not entitled to a refund.

 

 

 

Student Protection Fund

IC2 22-4-1-21-15 and IC 22-4-1-21-18 requires each educational institution accredited by the Office for Career and Technical Schools

to submit an institutional surety bond and contribute to the Career College Student Assurance Fund which will be used to pay off debt incurred due to the closing of a school, discontinuance of a program, or loss of accreditation by an institution. To file a claim, each student must submit a completed “Student Complaint Form.” This form can be found on OTCS’s website at http://www.in.gov/dwd/2731.htm.

 The CNA program is instructed by State Licenced

 RN's and LPN's.

 

*Note*

All CNA class dates listed below are mandatory.

The student must attend all dates given.

Class includes books and the first State Exam testing fee.

There is an additional 8 days of clinicals after the (2) two direct clinical

training days. All information will be given to the student at enrollment.

There will be a 6th day of class after the direct clinical training. Dates are

posted.

 

January CNA Class: 2020

Classroom Time: January 06, 07, 09, 13, 14th, Time: 8:00a-4:00p

Direct Clinical Training:January 15th & 16th Time: 7:00a-3:30p

Classroom Day 6: December 21st Time: 8:00a-3:00p

 

 

Pharmacy Technician Program:

January 7, 2020 ~ Tuesday nights~ 5:00pm-9:00pm

16 week program. All Lab is done on site along with a field trip to a pharmacy if possible by the facility and a Hospital.

This program will have some changes coming soon! We are in the process of revising this course for the next upcoming class.

 

EKG /Cardio Technician Program:

April 3rd, 2020 ~ Friday class~ 9:00am-1:00pm

22 week program. Lab is done on site.


Phlebotomy Day Class:

Wednesday-TBA, 2020 

Time: 9:00am- 1:00pm

17 week program with 3 weeks of straight clinicals M-F only in a hospital. 


Phlebotomy Night Class:

Monday's February 10, 2020

Time: 5:00pm~9:00pm

17 week program with 3 weeks of straight clinicals.
M-F only in a hospital.


Medical Terminology:

Start Date: We no longer offer this course. The Med Terms are incorporated into the classes that we offer.


Medical Billing & Coding Class:

Start Date: March 18th, 2020

Time: 5:00pm ~ 9:00pm~      

28 week program and will be on WEDNESDAY evenings


 

QMA CLASS: 

Start Date: TBA , 2020

Time: Wednesday-4:30pm ~ 8:30pm

Class runs for 15 weeks, plus clinicals.(student is responsible for own clinical site).

QMA Supplemental **Renewal Course Only**

Start Date: TBA, 2020

Time: Start time is 8:00 am.

CPR Class: TBA  2020 Time: 8am-12pm

There are additional times for the Phlebotomy and the Ekg section of the Medical Assistant program. This information will be given to the student upon enrollment as well as the ISBN numbers for books.
